If your Canon TS6360 printer is not printing, there are a few things you can do to fix the issue. First, check to ensure that the printer is turned on and properly connected to your computer. Try restarting your computer if the printer is on but still not printing. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix communication issues between your computer and the printer. If the restart does not work, try unplugging the printer for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. This can sometimes reset the printer and get it working again.
Introduction
Recently, I purchased a Canon MX492 printer/scanner/copier. It was a great deal via one of the Amazon Lightning Deals. So far, it has been great, and I love it. But I have had a few issues with it. Luckily, I found some solutions online that worked for me. I’d like to share what I found so others can hopefully resolve their issues. I have a Canon Pixma MX492 and a Macbook Pro. I like the printer, but sometimes it has issues communicating with my computer. This is usually when I'm trying to print a photo, and the message says something like, "Printer Error."
Check ink levels and replace cartridges
I'm not sure why, but I have found that the problem is resolved if I turn off my printer and turn it on again. This may work for others as well. Another issue has to do with printing photos. I had to go into my printer settings and change the print quality. For example, I had a problem printing photos in colour instead of black and white. I went into the printer settings and changed it from Quality Black and White to Full Color Photo.
Clean the printhead.
I found that if you open the front of the printer and turn it on, it will go through a cleaning process. It is like a paper roller cleaning process. The next time you print, you should see improvement. I found that if you open the front of the printer and turn it on, it will go through a cleaning process. Restart the printer.
Update your printer software. I found that the "HP Easy Photo Print" option was causing the problem. If I disabled this, I could print. This is just a suggestion in case you have this option enabled. Update your printer software.
Check for paper jams.
Clean out the paper feed area if you have paper jam problems. Use the HP Solution Center to check for software updates. Make sure you have the latest version. If not, download it from HP's website and install it. Just to make sure.
